Why does Neerly need my location?

Neerly uses your location to find nearby places and calculate the direction and distance to each one. Your location stays on your device and is only sent to Apple Maps or Wikipedia when searching for places.

How do I add a custom place type?

Tap the + button in the app and enter any search term. Neerly will find the nearest matching place and start tracking it.

Does Neerly work offline?

Once places are loaded, Neerly can show directions and distances offline. However, you'll need an internet connection to search for new places or refresh existing ones.
